Barr
traditionally has developed generic pharmaceuticals in tablet
and capsule form. Since 2004, the Company has devoted significant
research and development resources to develop new dosage forms
and delivery technologies for its generic products. It is actively
developing these products both internally and through partnerships
with third parties. These products will be based on delivery
technologies such as patches, creams, injectables, nasal sprays,
and sterile ophthalmics.
